I think all Minnesotans get to a certain point where they are just done with winter.
Sure, there are snowmobiling lovers and ice fishing fanatics galore to be found around here, but once it’s officially spring, I think we can all agree that it should actually feel like spring.
I’ve decided that I’m going to act like it’s spring outside, even when the weather doesn’t want to cooperate. So when the thermometer says it’s a mere 38 degrees, I’m going to pretend I didn’t see it.
Bring on the pastels, the florals, the brights and the whites. It may have to be long sleeved for now, but I’m through with winter weight fabrics and sad shades of grey.
When I wore this, there was a brisk wind blowing, and a decided nip in the air. But I broke out the linen top and floral denim anyway. To top it off, I paired it with a basket weave bag.
To heck with these silly cool spring days. I’m dressing for spring anyway.
I’m still hoping for great weather for this Thursday’s event though – are you coming?!
